PT3 update

I am in a free trial with pt3 and I had to apply an update on Friday, I was wondering what this update did, because now when I play a tournament it seems it automatically puts the players in the finishing order they belong, before I had to actually go through and enter each players finishing spot in the tournament list. If it did then I will be overjoyed, because entering those names in can be a pain in the rump when you have 100 or so names to go through.

Weird, been on my free trial for the past 3 days and I've never had to do that. Are you runing the Beta version? I am and this is not an issue.

Though I must add I am far from an expert in the use of this program....

thank you very much for posting this link stick, the "smart tournament detection" as they called it on their list is what I was referring to and it also answers my question about why I no longer have to manually log each players finishing spot in the tournaments I play, I am a very happy camper.

well since my last post about tournament detection, it seems it must of been a fluke or since I am playing much larger tournaments pt3 cannot track the finishing order of the players, at least not all of them, it even misses my finishing position sometimes, so my plan is to simply worry about where I finish, it's to time consuming to weed through 1k plus players just to find out where they finished, I think I read in a post on here somewhere that it could be the way pokerstars handles their HH as well, if there is anyone on here who plays at Pokerstars who has no problem with this issue, I would love to know what you did to fix it, Thanks...
