Hold the CTRL, ALT, and Delete buttons down at the same time to go to the Task Manager.
Under "Processes" look for PokerTracker.
Highlight it, and End Task.
Give it a little bit to close, then try running it again.

Thanks Savage
I've tried that. Nothing. Restarted CPU. Nothing. Way frustrating.

It appears the my C:/Users file was altered somehow. PT3 support said they had never seen this after I sent in the log file. Ouch.
I am thinking of doing a system restore back to a point before C:/Users was altered.
Any thoughts?
Also, I am thinking of purchasing a desktop with a larger monitor solely for poker. My laptop is a lower end HP pavilion model and I am anticipating more issues as my database grows.
Thanks all

I had a similar problem but I installed postgre (which somehow got deleted). I installed it (some slideshow showed me how) and it was working again. I have a hp pavilion and it is crap. my hp wireless doesn't know. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled more time when I can think. Well try asking pt forum. I did for a few problems
