Just downloaded PT3, using the 60 day free trial. I loaded up pokerstars and nothing is coming up on PT3. It says that PokerStars is not running (I tried this with Full Tilt as well, and it's doing the same thing).

Make sure pokerstars is exporting your hand histories. In the main lobby under the "Options" tab, go down to "Instant Hand History Options...," check the "save my hand histories, " then make sure you have autodetect on in PT3 for Stars import. You may have to specify the folder ("C/Program Files/blahblahblah...") if it doesn't auto detect it on start up.

Oh yeah, be sure to hit "Begin Auto Import" button. In fact, make sure you did this before you mess around with anything in my above post.

Yep, already had that all configured.

^^ This is what I needed to do. I thought my PokerStars hands were already being saved, but awhile back, I only saved my Full Tilt hands to go back and look at them myself.

I am now saving my PS hands and hit "Begin Auto Import" and it is now working.

Thanks Joe and Lab Man for helping me out!
