OK guess i'm duh ...

Problems
Stops recording hands for no apperent reason, may get 5-7 or so then stops, says it is observing i think ? This may happen when I go to add myself under the settings button, I can never find my name buy doing a search etc. My screen name never gets a stats (HUD) box, ever. This may be the cause for on going hands data to stop (doing the add myself rutine ???), seems like after that the it locks up forsure. I wait till I play a hand or two and I am still not found, Others at table are there ....

Problem 2 is mixed in above statement, I can not find, load my id in settings.

I play on pokerstars, IBM type PC, not mac FWIW.

I have not hit the stop down load button when I quit, was / is a problem ?? (did this cause a malf'?)

I can't seem to find the folder I set up to save the hands to either ??

You might want to try the pokertracker forums, they might be able to help you.. I dunno how to help besides suggest that sorry.

if you asked PS to save your hand histories, they are in

C:\Program Files\Pokerstars\HandHistoy\ your username.

If not, open Pokerstars, and in the lobby got to Requests, Hand History and check the box to save hand histories to folder.

^ this is it. Lobby - Options - Instant Hand History Options - check "save my hand history" box and you should be good.

Problem 1 sounds like it doesn't know what your username is and there for thinks you're just watching a game and not playing in it. I'd tell you where to look but I'm at work right now. Look for a spot where you can set that. Also on the support pages for PT, there's a lot of good info including screen shots on how to configure the App.
