I'm a PT2 + PAHUD to PT3 convert. That was a week of suck getting everything upgraded. Anyway, I'd like to see some layouts and any other quick tips to help get me up and runnnig. There is a lot of stuff in the new HUD on rush tabes which is nice (better than nothing) but it's a little bit of information overload.

GL...there really isn't a good "manual" out there on PT3 usage. There was one published a few yrs back but hasn't been updated since. There is a massive amount of info on PT3 usage on the two plus two site, and on pt's own site...but it's very cumbersome to sift thru i've found

Is it possible to export my PT2 layout and use that as a starting point for PT3 ?

I don't think so, but it's easy to set up your hud. I'll shoot a video for you and post it in here. Give me like an hour.

10 second text version -- please -- how can i take that dafult rectangle and smash it? I like the stats I want around the border of the players so they are not blocking cards, chips, timers, real names, etc. I can drag it around as a whole but can't seem to break it apart or move the different stats to different positions. Or a link to the faq i missed at PT.

I don't break mine up. So I'm not sure. On my Hud I took out the names and notes portion cause they took up too much room and weren't needed. I am looking at it now and don't think you can break up the hud anymore. There use to be an option for it, and I don't see it. So it's either moved or no longer an option.

The way my hud is set up I can see everything that you need to see.

Been too long since I used PT3, I converted to HEM way back, so don't remember for sure. But in HEM there is an option to enable "multiple panels" in the HUD configuration, which lets you separate stats out into panels that you can place anywhere. I would have thought PT3 would have something very similar.

Try going here and changing the type to grid.

I check in a bit - I gotta stop trying to play and configure at the same time or I'll lose my mind :D :coffee:

This is hard to describe, but here's what I did - break the stats up into different groups on the configure page that TPC posted, and set them to "show on the table for everyone" not popup. for example, I have 1 group called pre flop that has fold to pf raise, fold to pf 3 bet, and attempt to steal the blind %. in between each stat in that group I have "new line", so this will make it into a stacked vertical column. I'll try for a screenshot, sorry about my crappy description, hope you can make some sense of it.

here's a screen shot of the table, TPC's gonna be mad that I put the player names on my HUD but that's how I like it :)
