PRO WITHOUT HUD DISPLAY?

I wonder sometimes if every single poker pro who lives off of poker(cash games) online. and multitables and grinds endless hours daily can do it without a HUD display .QUESTION IS: does using a programe like pokertracker or whatever make you more profitable ,or does it only help certain people while others can do good without it? thanks for any comments.

i think it is all cheats.....we are playing online .....poker is one mind against another......when it became ok to use programs to enhance your game was a sad day for me......but im no pro .... I will never understand why our poker community thinks they are legit to use.

Just helps you multitable and grind out a better return on rakeback and points. But I can play without one all day and profit same. Just be a slower day with less hands as I cant play as many tables.

I think some pros use multiple screens for tracking people and hand mamagement, percentages etc and others just have a big screen with a load of sitngo games going clicking one after another and I think this has to give them a big headache within thirty minutes as it does me. But then again im not winning squat compared to them. Check out some youtubes videos on online poker pros and see what they do haha its crazy

I don't think they counts as "grinders" as such, but guys like Dwan and Ivey claim not to use trackers or HUDs online.

I plan on saying the exact same thing when I go pro...

i don't know, but i think they will use anyway, even pro needs to know what exactly other player does.

Guys like Dwan and Ivey are one-tabling. Well okay, maybe not one-tabling, but they are not mega-grinders really. These guys play low volume at ridiculously high stakes, and they make their money from reads on individuals rather than grinding out mass volume with strong default lines.

So yeah idk if I even count them as grinders, so they are not that relevant to the question imo.

This is a battle that has been lost a long time ago. Philosophically, I understand your point of view, but online poker is different than live poker and people who insist that such programs are cheating are really just limiting themselves. There are always going to be players out there who will use every advantage possible. In fact, I would argue that the majority of online players, even at the micros, are using at least PT/HM.

Some stay within the bounds of site-permitted software, others use anything and everything, site-permitted or not. It's a choice everyone makes, but just realize that if you aren't using at least the basics like PT/HM, stove, etc; that you are playing at a serious disadvantage to those who do.
