Is your XP updated to Service Pack 3?
Run another manual Windows Update and install ALL .net framework updates.

Next.. check if the secondary logon service is running: turn on the secondary logon. the secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. in the latest versions it is not started automatically. you need to start it via control panel . administrative tools . services. starting it once should insure it works in the future also.

Then check if your hosts file is OK:
this should fix it;http://holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8182

SQL 8.2: should ALWAYS run: http://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/binary/v8.2.22/win32/postgresql-8.2.22-1.zip but ideally you should install SQL 8.4.

try going in to services on your computer and check to see what your SQL is set to, try to set all the SQL to auto and then restarted. If that does not happen then you might have a IIS issue. where are you getting the SQL at, from the software or from the SQL website itself. might want to go in that direction. if all else fails dont they have a fourm that you can post with questions......

wait are you still running the trail version .....it could be that too but not sure.

also if you install both at the same time, try to delete both of them , and only do one to see if that works as well.
