Which one do you guys recommend? Are there others out there that are good as well? I'm unfamiliar with both of these so any information you can share would be great. The reason I know these two names is because both are compatible with Leak Buster.

Thanks guys!

Matter of personal taste, both offer free trials, 30 days I believe, try them both, make a choice.

Pokertracker and HM2 are both good programs, and as you mentioned if you want to use Leakbuster it works for both of them. I like HM2 personally. I switched because i wanted to use Notecaddy, and it was exclusive to HM2. so maybe something to consider if you are interested in it.

Holdem Manager 2. Just a lot more you can do easily and fluidly with HM2. I work with both A LOT, and I've used PT since PT2. When I work with coaching students and they have PT4, it takes more than twice as long to do the same kind of analysis than it does with HM2. It's just not as intuitive imho.

Give both a go though and see what you like.

Which tracking software should I use

Yes, I'm currently not using any tracking software. Which one should I go with? HM2 or PT4?

I'm fairly new, only a few months of playing. PT4 is brilliant, easy to work and understand. I've not used HM2 so cant draw comparisons but I can't fault PT4.

I got the free trial of PT4 and it's quite neat, easy to use.

What are your HUD recommendations? I like the Cash - Inspired by Harrington set.

Try both, but HM2 is better designed imho. This should be one of the test. Try to create a report of the stats you want in both. See which one is easier and you like better. Then make a couple of filters for a specific play you want on both. See which one is easier and makes more sense intuitively.

I use both regularly, and it's not really close imho, but everyone has certain things. I think some people don't think about the above or use the above. But when you do, you should have it work the way you want.

Still baffle us why some players think there is some kind of holy war that determines which tracking tool you use ;-) Both of our companies want whatever is best for players, isn't that obvious? Your decision which tracking App you wish to use is a personal choice based on workflow, there is no animosity between our companies.

I have couple of simple questions to those using HUDs. First of all i want to know which HUD is the best for texas holdem and how much it cost, and the second question is what do you think of poker tracker 4? Thanks in advance!

I have tried almost every possible free tracker/hud there is...
Now im on trial of HEM2, believe me there is no substitute for paid tracker even that i couldnt accept it for a very long time, i have never used PT4 but most people that i discussed with about that topic said to me that you couldnt go wrong whatever you choose from these two, PT4 or HEM2....

I bought HM2 from profits made with the trial version (1 month free use). 'nuff said.

I am not saying the entire 60$ (I have small Stakes version) is only because of HUD but it definitely helped.

PT4 Vs. HEM2

I'm going to be purchasing one of these, which one is better and why?
