We've been offering free access to PokerData for almost a year now, and are excited about getting more users on board!

PokerData is a cloud-based tool for uploading your hands to a private database, providing you with an online profile, analysis of your results and sessions, as well as a HUD that you can use from any computer with the PokerData desktop App installed.

It's currently in a free beta period so everything's available for all users, so check it out! More importantly, give us some feedback on what you'd like to see us develop for the tool next!

Currently it supports cash games for the following networks:

pokerstars
Full Tilt
iPoker
Winning
Party
888 (just released this week)

If you have any questions about it, don't hesitate to post!

Not saying i'm right or anything, but what's to stop you from selling our profiles to others? I wouldn't be worried since i'm not that good and don't play high limits, but for a sick player that plays high stakes, it seems sketchy to just hand out your HH's to a site.

Again, I don't know much about it but it seems like if you get a high stakes guy to set up an account with all his HH's, you can easily turn around and sell it for a good price to another reg and the victim wouldn't have a clue in the world that it actually happened.

well after a first use, if i compare it to other free tracker, fpdb i can say that stats and graphs are bit better at pfdb, here you cant chose time period to show graph, overview graph can be more detailed and have options to show hide something like season stats have, season stats looks great, hands looks nice too and sharing is easy too, i might want to have an option to convert it and post it to forum, not just having a link to the hand...

Hud works good with rush too, which is major difference with fpdb, takes bit more space ai dodnt found how to adjust it, resize it etc, is there an option to tweak hud?
ill play more with it in a next few days so far looks nice if you dont have a paid tracker...

I think adding support for more poker sites is essential. Why would you not support sites like Full Flush Poker, Bovada, Carbon, Black Chip Poker, America's Cardroom, and intertops?

The free beta period will last a few more weeks and then we'll roll out some new and exciting changes. However! We plan on always being able to offer a free version to our users. While we haven't detailed that out yet, rest assured that if you upload hands now, you won't be locked out of them in the future!

Not saying i'm right or anything, but what's to stop you from selling our profiles to others?...

...you can easily turn around and sell it for a good price to another reg and the victim wouldn't have a clue in the world that it actually happened.

This is a fair question and the answer is simple: this is not part of our model and never will be. Our goal is to offer a valuable and easy to use poker tool for individual poker players to keep track of their own results. We will always aim to fall in line with poker room Terms & Conditions, and any of the risks you mentioned above would put us out of line pretty quickly. Any attempts to make a quick buck on selling hand histories would be a complete disregard of our hopes for PokerData and we won't cross that line ever.

This is great feedback and this is exactly the type of stuff we want to hear from our users! We'll never be completely satisfied with the product unless you guys are, so all of the little things that you think are missing, could use work, need improvement, etc are the things we want to hear during this phase of the product.

There aren't any HUD tweaks YET, but we'll take your comments to heart and see how we can implement resizing options to make it more customizable.

I think adding support for more poker sites is essential. Why would you not support sites like Full Flush Poker, Bovada, Carbon, Black Chip Poker, America's Cardroom, and Intertops?

We agree that being able to offer the product to users, regardless of where they play, is essential. The only hurdle is being able to parse the numerous hand history formats to translate the data into valuable info for your profile and HUD. This takes the most time, however we are constantly working on adding new networks.

Note that Black Chip Poker and America's Cardroom are both Winning Poker Network rooms, which is one of the supported networks on PokerData (no HUD yet for this room, though).

Thanks a lot for your comments, everyone! There's also a voting system for new features on the Feedback form that you see along the right side of the website, so if there's something you'd like to see, let us know and we'll see how many of your fellow players want to see the same thing before deciding on where our next development focus takes us.

The completely revamped PokerData website is now live!

We've made a ton of changes so if you were using it before, you'll notice that it's a lot faster to use, functionality is improved, and quite frankly looks a lot better.

If you weren't using PokerData, now's a good time to try it - remember, it's free!

Some of the changes include:
-visual updates (as mentioned above)
-improved hand viewer
-session searching - just look up the cards you're searching for (i.e. As,Qs) or you can search for player names and the filter will kick in, narrowing down your results
-improved database speed - We've made several improvements on the back-end so that your sessions and hands should load much faster, making for a better experience.

That's it for now, check it out and be sure to let us know what you think!

Ive been testing this for a few weeks on stars..I never bothered when playing tournaments but feel if you´re playing cash on a regular basis online then a Hud is required just to keep up with everyone else!
Although it doesnt offer as many stats as the other big 2 on the market, which Ive also tested, being able to access my Hud from any pc/tablet makes life a whole lot easier and being able to go over a few hands from the previous nights session whilst at work was impossible with non cloud based software.
I presume that the paid version will have all the stats the others offer so I´m sticking with it for now although it would be nice if the trial could offer 4bet% as well.

Currently the only U.S.-facing sites that we support are the ones on the Winning Poker Network. Adding new rooms is definitely something we aim to do (so that users from all networks are able to use PD). With a small development team, prioritizing features, improvements, and additions to the PD platform is a major challenge, but we're getting there!

What other stats on the HUD do you guys think need to be there?

so you are doing charity, are you ?
how do you cover the costs of the servers and all ?
you have to either be using the data for yourself or be selling it to someone.
IMO, anyone storing their data on such a free solution has to be dumb to believe it really is free.
