This is a discussion on Poker Tools within the online poker forums, in the Poker Software & Tools section; hello everyone, what's the best poker hud? and it's really make the game better or there is no difference
I use poker tracker 4 ,,, and the truth has worked very well ... it helps me a lot to have a good reading of the villains ... that makes it easier to know in advance the possible movements of the villains ... and if They have helped improve my game ... I recommend it ...!

I just recently bought my first HUD and I really like it. It's Poker Copilot for Mac. I think it has improved my game and there are many situations where you get crucial information about your opponents just by looking at those statistics.
I definitely look at VPIP, PFR, AF, 3B and CB, just to name a few. If someone for example seems to be making a cbet 80% of the time, you can try 3betting them much more loose and probably win some pots right there. Then again if someone makes a 3bet against you and statistics show that they don't do that often, it's easy to let go and realize you're beat.
I didn't have HUD not so long ago but now I wouldn't play without it. HUD spiced up with intuition is a deadly weapon.

This is convenient if you play several tables.

Having a HUD is fundamental to dedicate yourself to poker professionally. Holdem Manager and PT4 are the best in my opinion and more complete

Poker at: pokerstars,
recommend holdem manager 2, try to read about this program to make it easier for you, try to build your hud with simple data like hands, vpip cbet 3 bet, fold at 3 bet, have many more statistics but first you have to master the simplest data to become familiar with the program.

re: Poker Tools
I just completed a free trail that Poker Tracker was offering. At first it seems to good to be true, it automatically calculates a players stats for you. It even shows opponents hands after they have mucked. (Using hand history so can you). However after using this program I felt it was creating me into a different style poker player. It seemed like a good thing as I was playing more cautious, yet still winning. However it was giving me a false sense about the players I was up against. Let me explain; when your up against an opponent with a low call/ raise stat you think they are "playing smart" and try and avoid them. This leads to you not playing a JK suited that you normally would have in that position. Alot of the times when I was playing with this app I wasn't performing as well as I normally do. However since using Poker Tracker I've gone back to playing without any apps and I have been extremely successful at the tables. It seems to have shaped me into a better poker player in the end!

Seems like a cool app but also seems like cheating because of the advantages it provides. Being able to know your odds on a hand(automatically ) or seeing mucked cards that you didn't 'call' to see is an unfair advantage. Sounds like a cool app but I wouldn't use it.
