Hi guys,
Anyone use poker soft ware while playing on poker stars ?
If so what do you recommend as the best? Does it aid in learning percentages and maths ?
Does it improve your skill at all, I've never used anything but have heard it can be a good learning tool?
Any advice?

I would start with the free trials of Pokertracker or Holdem Manager 2.

After that, there are a bunch of programs out there like SNG Wiz, Table Ninja, Notecaddy, Leakbuster, Flopzilla, etc.

I agree with Goathair that the best thing to do is try one of both of poker Tracker and Holdem Manager 2 and see which you like.
If you like Holdem Manager 2 be aware that they are developing a HM Cloud program which will I suspect replace HM2 in the long run, i may be wrong but before you buy it check this out.
I mainly use mine to check my results and VPP PFR etc, but I know if you put the effort in it could improve your game a lot. I am too much of a lazy fish to make the effort :D

HM Cloud is not designed to be a replacement of HM2. It is a simplified program that can be used with or instead of HM2. It is all I have been using for the past 6 months when playing.
