Poker Helping software a must?

Are poker helping software a must have?

Second question: Recommend me some you use/used.

Pretty much everyone uses an HUD/tracking software at 10nl and above, so you're at a disadvantage if you don't use it.

That doesn't mean you can't beat the games without it though.

Pokertracker 3 or 4 and Holdem manager 2 are the best

There's a bit of irony in that while you are disadvantaged online vs. regs who use software, the more you come to rely on it, the less accustomed you may be to watching and mentally compiling info if and when you try live play.

The trackers have a place, but it is mostly in helping you figure out your weaknesses. Yeah, yeah, they can give you info regarding the tendencies of your villains, but once you figure out how to exploit that, don't you think they will figure it out?

They are NOT the magic bullet you seek.

OK, 'Poker helping software' is a rather generic term.

There are the trackers, PT4 and HM2 and perhaps some others. There is the pokerstars school. I believe there are other training software's out there.

Before you spend any money you might try out Carbon Poker, which has a free HUD/Tracker available for all players. It is not bad. It is also not available on any of the other Merge skins. It will give you an idea of what all the hubbub is about. It comes up in Omaha games, but doesn't really work for anything but holdem.
