Ive read others are marking hands in HEM to look at later.

Are you doing this during live play?

Anyone shed some light on this for me?

Is it done from the table stats thing. It used to show hands on their but I removed them.

Yeah, you click on the player name in the pot history list on the table stats panel, which displays the HEM hand history window. At the top is a checkbox which marks the hand.

I always display table stats with the last 3 pots shown. Displaying the table VPIP/PFR is handy for ring play, I can review the last 3 pots easily without going through the replayer, and I can mark hands as needed. It's quite useful IMO.

I mark hands rarely, I should more often, but usually it's only when I feel like there is something blatantly obvious that I should be looking for. I always keep the table stats up though just to always keep aware of how good of a table it is. This is especially good when I am playing with a bunch of people who I don't have a ton of hands on, that way I can tell if the table as a whole is starting to become too tight and I should be looking for a new table. Handy for when multitabling.

I mark quite a lot of hands during live play using HEM. It makes it easy to find them later on. It's not always the big winners/losers, just those I want to review when I find some time. I highly recommend doing this.
