Any one who have used tracking software will meet a lot statistics.Sometimes I think it is a times of quantification.Even who people who dont use the software would mention these indicators.About those indicators,I dont know how to call it correctly, may be call it parameters, and so on.I just want to know which of them are most important.Like VPIP ,PFR,and so on.

Hello,

pokerstars has become aware of a situation involving a violation of our Terms of Service, to the potential detriment of other players. You participated in games that were under consideration in this case and as a result you may have been adversely affected.

In a case such as this it is our policy to confiscate the balances of the offender(s) and for PokerStars to add funds where appropriate. This compensation pool is then distributed to players potentially affected in as fair a way as possible.

To confirm your credit, please log onto your PokerStars account, go to the 'Cashier' screen and click the 'History' button. Your share will be shown as "REFUND", followed by the amount of the credit.

The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance and appropriate action will always be taken when players operate outside the Terms of Service. PokerStars works hard to police the games in order to pro-actively prevent such instances. However, in cases where it is discovered that rules breaches have occurred, the aim is to ensure that any players affected are compensated appropriately.

We regret that we will be unable to answer questions as to how your specific credit amount was calculated. Likewise, we are not at liberty to identify the specific games or player(s) in question. Suffice to say that the offender(s) have been barred from the site and you will not encounter them again.

Thank you for your continued play at PokerStars. Please let us know if we can help you with any further issues or questions.

Regards,

PokerStars Game Integrity Team

I think that guy's post was supposed to go in a different thread.

VPIP/PFR are the first stats you should consider. You can start to narrow down your opponents cards and how he's playing with those two. 3bet and Fold to 3bet are also important to consider preflop. The most important post flop stat to consider is probably Fold to Cbet - this is one of the easiest places to exploit bad players.

Yes, I agree lots of reading and then practise. Be careful you don't over rely on the stats.

The most basic stats are:

VPIP: Voluntary put in pot
PFR: Pre-flop raise
CB: Continuation bet
3B: 3-Bet (re-raise a PFR)
FTS: Fold SB or BB to a raise ahead of them

The combination of VPIP/PFR and CB will let you know what your opponent's hand selection range is. Use software like poker stove to make a good understanding of what the percentages represent.

For example if the VPIP/PFR is 10/8. It means that he is only calling or raising with 10% of the hands he is dealt. You can then understand how likely he is to have hit the flop later on.

Especially in Zoom (pokerstars) or Rush (Full tilt) games, you need these stats to understand if you can safely value bet or bluff your opponents

In tournaments, knowing their FTS percentage will let you know how likely they will give up their blinds to your raises. Allowing for better steal attempts with junk.

*NOTE: just remember, that these are statistics, players may occasionally make moves that are in line with their stats to fool you. Or more likely, they change up their play too often to make an accurate statistical read. The statistics are a guide, make sure they don't become a crutch
