Hi All,

So I just finished up a trial on PT4 and trying to start one for HEM2, and have it installed however its trying to connect into my postgresql database which was used via PT4 as well. Here is the problem I am having, I don't recall the password the was used for the database when I set it up through PT4.

I am sure I could probably drop the database and a new one will get created through HEM, however i would prefer not to lose what I had from PT4 in the event that I decide to purchase it down the road.

Anyone have any ideas for me, I am sure i left the database password defaulted when setting up through PT4 but its not the postgrespass that HEM2 is trying.

Thanks,
bluff

I personally did not like HM2 for most of the reasons you have posted. It hardly worked for me. I am still yet to try PT4, HM2 put me off a few months ago but as you never mentioned any issues with it, I will give it a go :)

Yeah at first review it's like there is way too much going on in there haha. I'm sure some of it is because i was used to PT4. I'll have to pick around with it some more and see if I can't tweak it to a liking, however based solely on how it was running on my computer its not something I'm going to be able to run accross many different sites/tables at the same time as just ate up my CPU and was painful. HOpefully can get it tweaked to work better for me.

I found PT4 was very easy to get a feel for, not too busy and does what I wanted (mainly tracking) without having to go through too many of the tutorials etc to learn how to use the reports and analysis etc. I would deff suggest giving it a try.
