For a recreational player like myself who is only going to play a handful of tournaments a month, how much benefit would I get from using a HUD? I don't feel like I would get enough hands with people to make it worth the investment. Right? Wrong? idk?
Can someone plz explain more about HUD and how we can apply it in real time tourney. thanks. You can benefit from it in a single game. How much that benefit is worth to you depends on how you use it and the stakes you play.
where can i download these programs from? so far i have been using the odd calculator on BOL and recently started using the cardschat App.. but in order to understand and improve my game i want to start using the HUD feature and analyse the hand history n data better. thanksIt all depends on what kind of player you are. If as you say you play only recreationally I do not see much sense in using a HUD. Now if you really take poker seriously, a program like HM2 or PT4 is fundamental both to analyze your game and to collect information from your opponents. Obviously, it depends on how you use it, the program itself does not do anything.

Lol, I have never thought of a HUD as being used to evaluate my play only to get info on others. Even though I have seen other players mark hands for review on twitch. I'm an idiot, lol. thanks it really might be worth the investment then.
