How to mark and review hands on HEM

I thought i knew how to mark the hands click on pot summary at the table then click in the box that pops up?If this is correct tho i can not find them later for review.I'm pretty sure this as been asked before but i can not find the answer.
Edit:also i've never figured out what does the the colors mean on the preflop carts chart -blue\light blue\black etc.

Click the player name in the pot history on the table summary to open the HH window. At the top is a lone checkbox. Check it to mark the hand. Later when reviewing the session, you can choose to show only marked hands.
