I'm on my way to make a good hud for FT using holdem manager.
Does anyone have a good one and willing to share?

I'm using a slightly changed default one, it's quite complete.

But what other parameters would you include in the already present?

It also depends to some extent on what games you play. A cash game HUD may not meet the needs of a cash game player.
Also it's difficult to comment on what changes to make if we don't know what you r cuurent one is.

General cash one without being needlessly over complicated

something like; hands, vpip, pfr,Af or Afq, c-bet flop, fold c-bet flop, 3bet pf, fold 3 bet pf, i also have % attempt to steal on mine also
its good to look at the pop up for many stats though

edit: ah maybe should of read that you're a tourney player - im an idiot

I think Tangerine's post made more sense in it's original form, in fact when I first read the modified version I immediately thought that he had made a mistake!!

he is saying it depends on what games you play for your HUD. A tourney HUD will be different than a cash HUD. he is saying that a cash HUD may not meet the needs of a cash player which i fixed into saying tourney HUD will not meet the needs of a cash player. DUCY?

I can see this may get confusing but I'm not at all sure that he did mean to say that.
In the quote in your post #4 it says that tangerines original post said 'A tournament HUD may not meet the needs of a cash game player'. Now this seems to me to be a perfectly sensible and helpful observation - It depends what you play, choose your HUD settings accordingly

As I understand it though you have changed post #3 to read as it does now 'A cash game HUD may not meet the needs of a cash game player' which whilst it may be true when the stats are looked at VERY critically, is not as helpful as the original and imo was not tangerines intention, (obviously Tangerine may yet tell me I'm wrong here, but I stand by my assertion that the original version reads better and is probably more helpful to the OP)

I meant to say that a tournament HUD wouldn't necessarily meet the needs of a cash game player. If I stated cash twice in my initial post then this was a genuine mistake so thanks to Tyler for the correction.

Yes that's what I thought, your initial post DID say tournament as quoted in Tyler's post #4

but as you can see it has now been changed so that it CURRENTLY reads cash game twice

You didn't make any mistake and your original version makes more sense

Hey I object to this
My observations have been rejected out of hand presumably because I have a low post count so am assumed to be an idiot

This is the fact
Tangerine says
'I meant to say that a tournament HUD wouldn't necessarily meet the needs of a cash game player'

It has been changed to read something different

'A cash game HUD may not meet the needs of a cash game player'

that's what I pointed out originally

I am not wrong

I am wrong

I apologize wholeheartedly

I misunderstood and thought you had fixed post 3 from that quoted in post 4.
This is how I have fixed posts myself (as a Mod) and seen them fixed by other Mods in the past elsewhere

It was not my intention to de-rail this thread or annoy anybody and once again I apologize
