I made a post at HM (holdem manager) forums, but thought maybe someone here has had this and knows something..??

I have Windows 10. I did an update, not a clean install.

My HEM2 worked fine for about 2 months, then I couldnt start it. I got the "cant connect to postgreSQL" message. After searching HM forum, I did stuff they recommended. One of which was uninstall my anti virus (Avast is what I have), which I did (then restart my PC) and then my HEM2 worked, I reinstalled Avast, it was fine. Now, a few weeks later, it is happening again, after being fine for a bunch of games, cash, tourney etc. HEM connected to postgre, Avast was active, all was well. Now the "cant connect...." again, but this time the uninstall of Avast (always with a new start of my PC whenever I change anything) doesent change anything.

I uninstalled/reinstalled Avast, HEM2 and nothing changes yet.

I was thinking, get rid of postgre and HEM2 and reinstall HEM2 and postgre will automatically reinstall. But a), Is that a good idea and b). How do I get rid of postgre. It is a databank (I guess) and not a program, so how do I "uninstall" it?

Or, and other thoughts are welcome.

Thanks.
