HEM1 user here, and no I don't tc hink I want to upgrade bc I am pretty sure a new generation of products are coming out soon, and I am pissed that there wasn't an upgrade option for users of HEM1 after X arbitrary date.

Now the product is working fine for me with regards to cash games on Merge, but with tournaments the table is getting found, hands are getting imported but there is no HUD and on table finder the table shows up as not having anyone seated.

I know there won't be support from HM1 people, but I still think this is an easy fix; any thoughts?

Please update to this version:

http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.14.02.exe

The Alpha Evaluation code was only valid during the beta trial period and expired when HM2 came on the market in November 2011.

As of April 30th, 2014, our discount upgrade offer, which has been available since January of 2012, expired. The April 30th expiration of the discount also marked the end of the Hold'Em Manager 1 (HM1) support life cycle. While there will be no updates or technical support for HM1 after April 30th, HM1 users will be able to log-in and use the software. However, functionality such as the HUD and hand importing will be significantly impacted when poker sites release updates and/or add new game types.

For the month of May 2014 only we offered a one-time $25 credit to users on a case-by-case basis to help with the upgrade expense. This offer expired on May 31st and will not be extended. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you'd like more information about HM1 end of life, please read our March 31 news update.

Im not sure why you posted all that, but it's very clear that you aren't supporting those who supported you by purchasing HEM1 REGARDLESS of when they looked to upgrade.

You can talk all you want about what WAS offered but that does people like me no good who purchased your product and now are staring at either purchasing a 3.5 yr old HEM2 at full price or waiting for the inevitable upgrade which will I suspect be coming out fairly soon.

I have no problems with you choosing the path of profit optimization, but to somehow spin your actions as something else...other than trying to make as much money as possible off of customers is sort of ridiculous/.

It's totally arbitrary to offer a discount for x amount of time for customers and just end it....there is nothing essentially different about a paying customer who wanted to upgrade in April or May and one who wanted to in June.

Like I said, it's your right to do this, but it's our right not to hurry and buy an older upgrade that probably will soon be replaced for X months or whatever and then AGAIN pay to upgrade.

I have no issues with you not extending HEM1 service to cover new games that might be spread or even radical software changes at specific sites; I do have an issue with washing your hands of customers who paid a premium for your product and not extending indefinite discounts on upgrading as I don't think I should be treated like someone who just making their first purchase of HEM. That's just my 2 cents.....you guys can/will act as you want to.

Try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/Configuring+Table+Finder+to+Show+HUD+

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK.

Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Select the table name to highlight it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK, then Yes.

If you continue to have problems there is nothing else we can do since we no longer support this software.
