Hold'em Manager. If you look at the thread below this about HEM it should say HUD. A HUD (which is a tool of Hold'em manager) is a display of stats on each player at the table which helps you improve your play. HEM can also take your overall stats and winnings which will help you find leaks in your game, etc.

Hope this helps!

Is there anyway to determine who is using a HUD and who isnt. It would be valuable to know who has a HUD at my tables.

I have a feeling thats unlikely ddeely...you can't know what someone is using on their computer without hacking into it

by no means am I an expert at all. I have a more general idea of how to use it. It helps me to get a better idea of hands pre-flop and how often a play will c-bet a flop. Other than that Im not that knowledgable...yet! Look around in the hand analysis though. Players will often post stats and then make assumptions of their range based on these stats.

the 2 major ones are holdem manager, and poker tracker, both have it good and bad sides. But if i were to side on one it would be poker tracker, since i am using that more then manager, plus i can custom set status that i need for players at the tables.

HEM and PT4 are both tracking programs. so they will track all of your own stats, and are great for monitoring your progress, reviewing hands, leakfinding, etc. They both have HUD's that will show stats for everyone at the table. You can find alot of info online about stats, and stat ranges, etc. I use Leakbuster which will analyze your database, and give you optimal stat ranges, has training content, etc. but it will compare your stats vs those of a huge sample of winning players, and tell you where you are going wrong, and give you advice to correct those leaks.

Maybe check out the free trials for HM2 or PT4. both are good programs.
