I cant start HEM anymore. It says my 15 day trial is over.......

I paid for the full version last year, and it has worked fine till now

It even lists my serial number - activation code - in the window that tells me I am expired.

in the pop up it even lists my problem and says "click here if you have this problem" and then I get a "problem loading page"....??

Any ideas? (yes, I have posted in HEM forum)

I would suggest sending HEM an email, I had an activation problem a while ago and they got back to me very quick, their customer service is great.

You could try when you get to the activation page erase your serial number and go to the HEM site and log into your account and look for your licence code, you might have to register to do this but it only takes a minute, and if you open your code you should find that it automatically fills in your activation code for you and you should be ok,
hope this helps, it worked for me.

Good Luck:)

This,

the customer support guys are really helpful at HEM. What I'm worried about is, will the old software become obselete when the newer version is released?

When a newer version of HEM becomes available you can just download it from their site and it updates the old version for you, I have done this a few times, if you look on their site where you download HEM there is a "update version" just download this and it does the job for you as I say.
When you buy HEM you are entitled to all new versions as they become available, you are not stuck with whichever version you bought, hope this helps:)

Yeah, but they added a registration aspect. Before I think you just had to have a valid licence/serial or how ever it worked, but they added something where they want you to register as well with an email address. At least, that's the step I had to go through a couple months back. Maybe it's the same with your setup.

Thanks for the response. I got a reply from HEM already, but it asked for more info on my system, so I sent that- They were very quick in replying, so I am sure it will be resolved soon.

Have you recently made any upgrades to your system? Many products use different hardware codes to make sure that they are only on that computer so it's harder to crack, so sometimes if you upgrade, that can cause conflicts. I believe many use the machine code from the CPU, but I remember in the past I had a piece of software that used the key from my secondary hard drive, so when I replaced that, I could no longer use the software and it took me forever to convince customer service that it was still the same computer(they never want to believe teenagers...).

HEM CS is great, so I'm sure you'll be back up in no time, just figured I'd input my story.
