I had a weird thing happen. MY HEM reported that it was importing 4500 files. I had my back up HD on and thought it was getting old stuff from there, which it may have been. I didnt import them so thought, ok let it go. It went ALL NIGHT! like from 11 PM and at 7.30 am was STILL importing...... Then it crashed (The entire PC)

Now my HEM works again, but all my files have been renamed. See SS below to see what a folder of HH looks like. And now my HUD is not coming on, BUT my HEM is importing 1000s of flies AGAIN. Below also a SS of what that looks like.

WTF, any ideas???

As soon as the import is done I will update as to whether or not the HUD starts working again. Does it not work when doing a large import, I am thinking.

Since the latest update of HM2 whenever I start the program I now have an orange bar filling up and saying "loading hands". This takes absolutely ages, and until that is done the HUD doesn't do anything more than say "awaiting hands".

yep same here, not sure what is wrong with it tho. I stopped using it for a bit because of that problem.

Fletch, I would say send an email to HEM support or ask on the forums over there. Seems like it was probably what you thought, just importing your backed up hands from your external because it is properly reading them as dupes(for the most part, 10 errors, 5 incomplete hands and 79 new hands, which could be from just some copy/pasted files you had on your external). As for the file names... beats me besides random numbering due to duplicates

Yea Jeremy, I have posted at HEM forums and sent an email. I just gpt windows 7 however and will install it this week, maybe tomorrow so I will ask poker stars for my HH and just re install everything. I would imagine that will get rid of the problem, but it is freakin weird..... The import prosess goes th the end, then starts over again. Always the same report, always the same hands, always the same duplicates, same errors etc. It just keeps starting over, so my HUD doesent work. My report above that all is working again was only temporary.....

But the new OS install will probably get everything working again.

I used to have a similar issue as this with a thumb drive that I would transfer HH from one computer to another with. When I would plug the drive in, the import would start immediately as usual, but it would never backup and delete the originals from the drive like it would from my regular hard drive, so every time I plugged with thumb drive in, it would start importing already imported files unless I went and physically deleted them after importing. It was never a huge issue because at most I only ever had a couple thousand hands on it which took seconds to process, but still it was annoying that it wouldn't archive them.
