Hey I was doing a little bit of searching around on how i could be able to keep an up to date data base for my poker tracker(Poker Office) on both of my computers. I was told to use the software Drop Box, because what it does is always updates any files changed and save them to your online account, which your computer will access at all times and keep you up to date with any files that u have updated (ie. if u are working on a file a work and need to access it at home without having to email the file to yourself u just place it in your Drop Box then u will have the files where ever you go. So From your home computer, Laptop, Or even any mobile device like your phone or tablet.). The thing is, i am not sure which file to place into drop box to have access from each computer thats going to be and updated database at all times. Has ne one ever used this software for their tracking software??? Can Someone please help me??? i searched through all the files for the program and can't seem to figure out which files it is that i need to place into it. I need a lil guidance if u are able to Please and Thanks.

Sorry, there may be a few people here who still use Poker Office, but I personally am not aware of any. Most everyone here uses either Hold'em Manager or Poker Tracker. Maybe contact the people at Poker Office directly????

Also, do u know if ne one uses that system to tranfer their files between computers for there Hold-Em Manager or Poker Tracker???
Or Do those programs have a way that they can keep an up to dat database throughout multiple copys of their program (Desktop, Laptop)?????

hey thanks for the info, i finally figured out how to do it.

i back up my DB
Place it into my Drop Box
Then I retore it to pokeroffice,
then delete the old one so i always have the up to date version at all times.
but always remember when done playing to place the fresh DB back into DropBox so it is ready to be used where ever i need it.

If you're playing any kind of volume, that is going to get extremely tedious, not to mention time/space consuming very quickly

I personally have my database networked from my server at home, so I can play anywhere and connect to it. That's the easiest way imo.

Also, going with a flash drive would be faster than dropbox.

With anything? No. SQL systems are designed to be treated like it's on a hosted server, so it's a piece of cake if you know your way around computers...

Do you think it would be possible for your to explain to me how to do that???
I would really like to be able to switch from comps and not have to do any thing and just have my DBs allways up to date regardless of where i am using which ever comp it is that i need to. Like u said my way is time consuming but it woirks and thats all that i needed but would really like to use ur way if u think you can make that possible for me. Thanks

No problem, that's what I'm here for. I don't know much about Poker Office as I haven't used it in like 5 years, but I don't remember them using a SQL db, so that method won't work for you if it's still like that. Not very many people around here, or anywhere for that matter that I can think of, use PO, but good luck trying to figure that out.

Hey, yah i went and thoroughly checked out the whole setup for holdem manager and was trying to c if i could yous it for poker office and i cant seem to figure t out or even if its possible. i think down the road i am going to purchase holdem manager because ive herd nothing but positive feedback from it and alot more usefull articals on the software. plus a whole lot more ppl that can answer questions posted.the reason i got poker office was because i had got it for free through Titan Poker and an affiliate site, they had the cheapest deposit and to aquire there points was fairly easier compared to others making it that much quiker for me, i wish i could go back and swith it so then i would have goten the more common software. But i find it works great just not to common. and if they had better support, it would make things run smoother. So thanks alot man as always ur real helpfull.
