FreePokerDB (FPDB)

Somebody uses this program, I would like hear reviews , possible to to use it in pokerstars ?
Also need to link to the official website.

i downloaded it, it can be used good at cash tables, at FTP it have problems with tournaments, im still trying to learn how to configure it, official page is not much helpful,

I'm using it too. I'm quite good at modifying the GUI. If you would like one with particular infos and color, feels free to PM me I'll see if I can make it for you.

For the software in itself, it gives you the stat and that's it. The other options are quite buggy to be honest.

Did a little search for FPDB since I'm new here and was wondering if any others use it.

As an amateur player I don't really feel like forking out for HEM or PT yet but this is a great tool for the beginners. Gives you some good insights into what hands you over play, what your basic stats really are, and is super helpful for beginners in SNG/MTT's.

Definitely still a little buggy and no-where near as featured as the commercial options. But a good start

I dont know is it just for me but fpdb doesn't work with sng at least not with party poker...

Works well for my on PokerStars and FullTilt. Good little HUD!

yea the hud works just fine, and comparing to other free trackers it is the only hud that works with tourneys, i just cant get graphs and stats to work...

I used FPDB for a while a few years ago. It may be better now but when I was running it the HUD was insanely messy and hard to organize in a way that its still legible while not blocking out cards and bet sizes and stuff, especially if you're multi tabling. Also it lacks the features of PT and HEM that are the most appealing to me: Analyzing tools to help you find your leaks. Having the villains stats is nice but at the micros you should really be focusing on your own game and making EV moves all of the time.

I am sure they have improved it quite a bit since I have used it though.

Yes you're 100% right, it definitely doesn't show you your leaks and requires a bit of self analysis!

Is there much development activity on it now?
I last looked a couple of years ago and it wasn't working very well and didn't look like there was any work going on to stabilise or improve it. Which I thought was a shame as it did look to have a lot of potential.
(I tried HoldemManager at the same time and didn't like the intrusive ugly HUD of that either).

What do you think about that software? I already heard about but i dont know if it is good or not, so i would like to have your feedback

Yep, works fine for me in both PS and FT SNG's!

Could you help me with configuration for SnG? Cause i cant use it in PS' SnG :S

fpdb hud

unfortunately im not flush enough to fork out for hold em manager/poker tracker so after reading on here about a few free huds i decided to download fpbd. after downloading it i unzipped it to desktop, opened up the folder and clicked install fpbd but nothing happens. did anyone else have this problem or know how to resolve it?

or does anyone know of any other free decent huds?

Using fpdb with Betonline

Hi gang,

Anyone know about using fpdb with betonline. I got it to work fine with the ring games but I am having trouble with tournments. I have the files but fpdb doesnt seem to be picking them up.

I couldn't get it to work at all and so gave up and wrote an excel sheet that analyzes stud. No HUD though as it's all about importing the hand histories post play. It's a shame I couldn't get it to work at all as HEM2 is great for Holdem and Omaha but doesn't cover any of the other games. Big gap in the market here if any programmers are reading

I was actually using FreepokerDB for a little while on Pokerstars. Importing and HUD all working great(only played cash games) but one day it just stopped working. When I say stopped working I mean I was playing 6 tables at once and the HUD would only show on one table and wouldnt update itself. It would stop importing too. "Messing" around with the settings didnt help me at all. (I say messing because I've never successfully used a HUD before this one so I'm not that familiar with alot of the options) Any one had this issue before or can offer a solution?
@tootsy I don't follow what you mean by step 19? That link took me to page 11 of the setup thread. I went to the first and I don't see anything resembling "step 19" if you could post some more info or exactly which part your having trouble I might be able to help

how do I get FPDB working with betonline cash games? I've been looking for days, going in circles.

Works great until I am moved to another table (which is often) only thing that fixes it is to restart fpdb and the poker client when moved to a new table I find, which of course is very annoying.
