Hey everyone, first post here as a member but I have been reading the site for a while.

Anyways, I am in the market to get a laptop. My budget is $350. I was looking for a laptop that I am going to use primarily for poker. I don't need a screen for massive multi-tabling, mostly just 2-4 tables.

I found a few laptops from reputable brands, and I was just wondering if these laptops could handle and run online poker smoothly, specifically Bovada.

Also if you guys know any other laptops in my budget that would be good for poker, that be awesome. Thanks in advance everyone

I'm pretty sure just about any computer could run Bovada well.

I mean a couple of years ago I had a Windows 98 Compaq Presario that was able to run Bovada with no hitch at all.

I'd go with that Toshiba though. Specs look best for the price. Plus, if something goes wrong, Toshiba is ALOT easier to deal with than Dell.

think that is enough to handle the table u need.
if you are considering to add a monitor , I mean 2nd monitor, to play 2 more table, think that it is enough as well.

I also have buyed a lap top for poker. My decision was a samsung he is so soft on running and i have no problems with the internet. But i have payed about 450€. So its your decision if you want a good one not only for poker or a cheap one with no more use. All in all they are very similar when you are looking at the same price.

IBM ThinkPads are good. They run between 50-100$

I have a Lenovo laptop. Lenovo bought the IBM ThinkPad division a few years ago and rebranded it. I've had mine about 2 years and it works just fine for everything. You can typically find them on sale for under $300 at box stores.

I assume since you play on Bovada that you are in the US. If so, I would wait a couple weeks until Black Friday and see if you can find some better deals.

Iv'e got a laptop from 2009, Core2duo 1.3GHz 4G ram and it can run a bunch of tables and a hud but it get's close to being maxed out while doing that. So I would get one with at least as good of specs as that. (shouldn't be hard to do)
