Don't know about the "best", but the two most common are PokerTracker4 (PT4) and Hold'em Manager2 (HM2). Both do essentially the same things, and both offer a free trial to get you started.

I use PT4. It's great and has leak tracker included. From what I hear you have to pay extra for holdem manager's (leak buster).

Disregard the leak tracker info. I was told that leak buster was made for both PT and HM and is actually more in depth then leak tracker.

When i first started playing i knew zero about poker, and one of the first things i started with was Tournament Indicator. It didn't have the HUD feature, or replayer or anything, but was helpful for figuring out starting hands, and was an introduction to pot odds/win odds.

But i definitely recommend either HM2 or PT4. i used PT4 initially, but decided to try HM2 and really like it. Has cool features, and i like that Apps like Notecaddy, Leakbuster, Tablescanner are intergrated right into the program. But i guess it is kind of up to your personal preference.

I"ve seen people have complaints about both HM2 and PT4, and i'm not sure if it is just a speed issue or what. I haven't had any issues with either, but i did build a new PC this past year, and i highly recommend going with an SSD drive. Will speed things up a lot.

My only issue that i've had so far would be that Table scanner doesn't seem to work for me since Merge updated their client. But i'm guessing there may be a fix, i just haven't followed up on it.
