I downloaded an excel sheet called "poker session log". It works really great. Tab for SNG, tab for cash,, and associated graphs for each. Check it out, definitely recommend. Not sure how it works if you have Open Office instead of windows though.

Just tried it on OpenOffice and it works fine.
Bit slow because of all the calculations it updates.

Would have to be disciplined to enter all the info and keep up to date,
but good stats summaries.

Of course it would be easier to let a tracker do all the hard work.

It would be, but if you have no desire for HUD it saves you about $60 for the software. I unlocked it and tweaked a few things on it and I'm loving it.

No, and unless he passed this by the forum staff he can't be advertising it here anyway. This one appears to have slipped through the cracks. Deleting it now.

This is just wrong, for more than one reason. First, why not use a HUD? But fine, if that's not your thing... trackers do so much more than provide a HUD. A HUD is maybe 20% of the value a novice player will get out of tracking software.

Even for micro stakes players, if you put in any volume and are wanting to improve your game, the cost of a tracker is nothing. It may as well be free. ~4BI at 25NL. Turn off the HUD if it bothers you. The benefits -- including ROI -- you get just from self-study, leak detection, and accurate tracking of results will pay for itself in no time. Possibly even a single session. It's just crazy not to want to use one.

Hm, nearly convincing argument there. I might rethink it.
I tried HM but stopped because I prefer to see the table and cards instead of being obscured by (to me) meaningless numbers. That 20% of the value aside, as well as the 4BIs for the software also need to invest in a computer able to run postgres and know database administration. The postgres overhead had a large impact on my pc performance and then the database crashed beyond repair and I didn't bother re-installing.

To midgetfactory though if you really want to track your results, then as I said earlier in the thread an automated tracker would be much easier and more accurate in case you forget to add some to the spreadsheet.

You can reposition the HM2 HUD panels by holding the right-mouse button and dragging them.

.....

Any modern computer bought in the past few years with 4+gb of RAM shouldn't have issues running HM2 and you don't really need to know anything about postgresql databases to use HM2. It does everything for you. If you try it again and have any problems please post on our forums or use or faqs and new priority support tool and our staff will be glad to assist you with any questions/problems you might have.

Not to bring this back from the dead, but I created a Google Sheet you can copy/download.

I play on Bovada so there's a few days delay when getting my HH. It's got a few auto-calculated/formatted columns for the bare basics and something to use while your HH's come in (or if you play live games). It's on Google, so you can update it from your mobile etc

If you click on a cell, you can see the formula I used to auto-calculate - simply tweak it to your own columns if you make changes. To create a new entry, just copy/paste the row and all the cells will line up with the new rows data.
