I use there 5 free searches but it looks a bit pricey to me to buy there services. What do you think? Anyone doing this and it paying off for them?
Thanks
im not paying for it, but i do use pokerprolabs which gives you 20 free searches a day instead of 5. so if your not trying to drop money on those sites, thats an alternative. plust i like pro labs info they give you a little more then sharkscope.
Well... Those free searches may be "non-prohibited" way of finding player stats umoung other things, The Program It's Self Is A Prohibited Software And Service Due To The Use Of Data Mining....
PokerStars and FullTilt have this clearly stated in Rules For gathering data from player you HAVE NOT personally played the hand with regardless.
Now, If you currently use HEM or PT3 and buy MILLIONS of data mined hands and use it for player info, this is in direct breach of Their rules, but.... BUT HEM (helod'em manager) and PT3 (poker Tracker) are listed under the Non-prohibited programs due to the nature of the software. They dont mine the hands.. they "gather" while you sit and play at real money tables....
Hope this helps. :eating:

Didn't know that, I used SharkScope once to search about random people I met in different forums but I'll be sure not to visit their site anymore.
If you play sng's and don't use it - just know that your good opponents are using it and have a huge edge on you. I would go so far as to say if you want to play $5.50's or higher and don't intend to use it - you might want to try playing something else instead.
I don't play sngos, but I'm curious where this huge edge is...table selection? Can you table select effectively at stts where they fill up fast and you need to open several at once?
Seems you would generally know pretty soon from your HUD (and database) who the regs and the donators are, and the HUD is going to give you alot more specific helpful information than knowing someone is a breakeven player.
Is it about knowing who the really bad unknowns are earlier in the game so you can adjust the hands you'll be happy to get all in with?
...or is it from more than the search feature, I don't know what full sharkscope subscription includes.
which you can do at FT but not at PS.
you can color code on PS
Yea I know - I was saying you can't view the notes from the lobby. But someone just told me you can now - hope they are right!

If any item listed on the Prohibited list of programs or services is installed on your comp. regardless if you use it during game play or not is still Prohibited.... I'm just stating what they are saying... I wouldnt mind poker-edge or some other nice mass data mine of info with past hands that you can see how they played... Maybe if you could hide the program so the poker websites cant check to see if you are using a prohibited type of program or have it installed. They say they have the access to do that.
You're getting your info. confused.
In prior post you're suggesting that prolabs software is data-mining... lol. Do you even know what it is? Incidentally, it's allowed on both FT & Stars.
Please try to get your facts straight.
Also, comparing PokerEdge to Sharkscope?? Completely different.
