I've never used a HUD before, but I'm watching so many videos of players using one. Seems like a HUD is a must. With Bovada being anonymous though, is useful @ all for MTTs?

If you can even find one that works there (I don't know of any, but I don't play there), they aren't going to be nearly as useful on Bovada because you can't track villains beyond the current game. That said, there is some value in tracking villain tendencies within a single large MTT or extended cash game session, so I won't say it's totally useless. Just not useful outside of a single game.

Now for the tracker side, there are tools that will import Bovada hands into PT/HM for the purposes of self-analysis, leak-finding, and reporting. There is absolutely value in that for those people using trackers to their full affect.

I'll use this opportunity to once again point out that while the terms "tracker" and "HUD" are often used synonymously (especially by new players and those vocally ignorant/biased against poker software), they serve different purposes. They do operate from a common database, and a HUD requires the tracker engine behind it to grab the hands and compute/update stats. But either one can be used and the other ignored, if one chooses. For most sites I would encourage proper use of both. But with Bovada/bodog, one of the rare organizations actively opposed to HUD use (which is the reason for the anonymous players now), your most bang for the buck is going to come from self-study using the tracker, not from the HUD.

It wasn't possible when they first went anonymous, but I seem to recall they later added the ability to take notes for the current session/game. Again, I don't play there so can't say with any certainty. I'm sure one of the Bovada regs will chime in to let you know.

I'll be the Bovada reg this time :p. Yes you can take notes. They will only last for the current mtt/cash session. At zone, there is no note-taking though.

How do you take notes? When I right click on the person, only option I get is "sit here".

Hold'em Indicator may still work and although it is severely limited as far as being a tracker/HUD goes, given that you can't track beyond the current session on Bovada anyway it's probably as good as you'll get, provided you don't intend to analyze your own hands.
