Zoom Poker tournaments are amazing because of the speed at which they start - and they end. As players can better select their hands, they end up really waiting for good and excellent hands to play. Therefore, having a medium hand, it is highly recommended to play cautiously, since just because your opponent has entered the hand, when he could have simply given up, already gives a certain credit to him. My experiences in the zoom tournaments were few and I confess that it was frustrating I did not survive nor the 45 minutes.
Has anyone ever won a zoom tournament?

I manage to win one about two months ago. It sure was not quick. Took nearly five hours to compete. The last eighteen reverted to normal play (not zoom). It was a pokerstars School Pass Boost freeroll with 1389 starters.

I have just started playing zoom cash games and going Ok. Still early days, but zoom games may suit my style of play. Time will tell.

I've played the Snap tournaments on 888 Poker, and usually end up crashing out rather quickly. If I get a hand I know I wouldn't play, I snap fold and end up on another table. Small antes go each time. Usually when I hit a good hand, either another player has one too or everyone's already folded you end up on another table.

I haven't won any, but I've cashed in a few

Interesting to know that in the end the tournament converts to a normal tournament and no more style zoom, I thought it would zoom to the end and would finish faster.

I would just avoid them they seem like more trouble then they are worth and maybe will reinforce bad behavior for future tournaments.

Can't zoom to the end, because as the number of players reduce, there are not enough to make up a full table. I suppose they could zoom to the final table (last nine), but the tournament I won, the last eighteen switched to normal play.

and a tournament that is not favorable for a player who is starting to play. for reasons of game strategy. the zoom and a very treacherous tournament so you have to know if you go out to get to Ft!
