Hi.

How many days, months, years did it take for you from your very first deposit to your first final table? How much did you cash? And did the cash made of for the lose (if youre a tournament-grinder).

First final table of any kind was just over a week from starting on pokerstars, finished 1st out of over 8000 in a 500 play chip tourney, 2 days later finished 2nd in a 1000 play chip tourney.
My first final table with a cash prize was 2nd in the Full Tilt Daily Dollar (I really miss that game, by far my favorite tourney) for a cool $1000

My first deposit was ... There has never been a first deposit at all :) The first final table of the tournament Bet IBC freeroll. I came in third or fourth place. The prize was $ 1.30. This happened after 2-3 months of the game. And the first final table in the game for money was at 0.25 buy-in SnG tournament with 45 players. I finished fourth and won $ 1.70. It was after 3-4 months of the game.
And my first deposit I'm still not done. :)

My first final table took a long time since I was playing free rolls for pennies. I deposited in pokerstars and I went to a final Table after 3 months, got third and won some $52.00

Hi.

How many days, months, years did it take for you from your very first deposit to your first final table? How much did you cash? And did the cash made of for the lose (if youre a tournament-grinder).

One time. At the old Silver Nugget in North Las Vegas, they ran these $7.00 buy-in tournaments. The first one I entered was fixed limit Hold 'Em. Not only made the final table, but won it. That was worth $300, and the tournament paid the final three, something like 300/100/50.

I went on to win, place or show in every tournament they ran: Stud, Omaha, Ohama-8, 5 Card Draw, A-5 Lowball, Razz. The Silver Nugget was way off the usual tourist track. However, their low limit poker games were rich.

After the Silver Nugget closed, the action moved up the road to the Poker Palace. They only ran three tables, and the biggest game was 1 -- 4 spread limit HE. I'd leave with $hundreds since this was the first place anyone coming from Nellis AFB encountered. Those flyboys couldn't play Poker, but they sure could unload at the tables when on leave. :D

I started playing poker around 2008, soon after the end of a relationship that hurt enough. I was in a very deep depression, and poker was the only time that suicidal thoughts were gone. I put as a personal challenge to learn the game and constantly played around the freeroll that was available. I took many Homeric beams, but then later that year the reward came in a giant freeroll with 18 thousand people, I was in 4th and earned US $ 144. Since then struggle to improve and get to be winner in this challenging sport.

I have never made a deposit out of pocket. I played freerolls and earned many tickets, but flamed out in those tournaments for money. Took me probably two years to actually make any money. I cashed in a 2nr round tourney for $5, then went to the ring games. Slowly, I increased the stack, little by little, until I was able to play the larger cash games....got my stack up to $152.00 from zero deposit. Then I got greedy and blew it all in one day.....easy come, easy go.

I have never made deposit but reached the final tables several times(mainly on freerolls). As I remember the first final table was made after ~6 months of play on a freeroll tournament. My problem on the final tables is with the headsup play. I have reached the final two several times in the last 2-3 months but I was able to win only 2 times. I think i'm too tight when i play the headsup and as I know this is not recommended there.
