Can you give me any advice on the MDS?

I just won a free $265 ticket into ACR's Sunday Million. I am super stoked to play, but nervous about what techniques I am going to use to try and tackle this monster. I have never played anything other than an occasional cashgame or sitngo at this buyin level. My typical tournaments usually only last maybe 3 hours. This Sunday MDS has 5 hours of late registration. Last week it took 8 or 9 hours before minimum cash, and 15 hours until the game was finished.

I'm not sure how having a long play period will affect how others play, and how I should adjust my game.


I'm also not used to the range of what people might be playing at a tournament like this. I would imagine their range would be totally different (because so much is at stake) compared to a tournament with a few $ buyin.


If you have any advice, tips, pointers, etc... I would love to hear them!

Should i buy in at the begging of the tournamemt? Or perhapa wait until later in the registration period....?

This tournament is a high value,large tournament with usually overlay. I played it last month and it was tough field of sharks. Everyone I sharkscoped was a shark.
