Tough spot. But since you still have more than 10BB folding preflop here to crawl into the money is an ok move. You're almost never going to be a favorite calling the raise(especially considering the villain's stack), but then again the pot is huge vs your stack size, so you were pot comitted to call. Unless you wanted to make it into the money with a small stack in which case you should've folded preflop.

All in hindsight though, you didn't make a bad play, just forget about that hand and keep playing good poker.

considering you still had a decent stack i would have folded on the re-raise, i never like going all in right outside of the bubble unless i have a high pocket pair, i would of folded n just hung out for a little bit until you were in the money

It's play money. His range is 2 pretty cards or 1 very pretty card + a random card. Call.

You'd still get a call if you shove preflop, but that's what I'd do...but when the big stack shoves to your raise I might fold it since you're near the bubble and most likely lookin at a coin flip at best.

Before you raise you have an M of 5, if you fold to the shove you have an M of 4. You should be prepared to get it in with AK here 100% of the time. As for the bubble, wouldn't you rather win the tournament than just fold your way into the money? I know I would

You're looking short range. People give advice over the good money play that works over the long term. You can't look at this one result and say I'll NEVER make that move again. You've got to look at the theory behind the move and decide if you think it is a good money move over the long term. Or just ask a forum full of solid players to answer for you.

I'd push it... If you're not first you're last.

You can get better feedback if you include the relevant stack sizes. That said, it looks like you have about t20k in your stack, I would be happy with a shove here. As played, you have to call.

It would depend on the four players closest to falling out. Can you just sit back and make the money or do you have to win a hand?
If I was just trying to make the money I'd fold. I've noticed at these online sites that they give you something you really want to play right before the payline; for me it's AQ. In the long run I find it's best to squeak into the money and then start playing.
I see nothing wrong with the way you played the hand. His card came up, yours didn't, maybe next time....
Sometimes with AK late in the game I'll limp. My cards come up, great. Any serious resistance, a large raise, I miss the flop, it's much easier to throw away.
