WPT Strategies

I am planning on playing satellites to WPT next month...just want some feed backs on the strategies. .....or there's a website of some sort of plan or something.

Can someone chime in?

What level satellites? And what level do you usually play at? In games at or near your usual level, you can expect the play to be pretty similar to what you're used to. So the main spot where you may want to adjust is near the bubble where survival is more important than in a regular tournament, and chipping up to help make a very deep run is less important.

As you move up in levels, you'll have to adjust to the overall level of play getting more and more aggressive.

So far I've been winning small local tournament...buyin $40-$80. I am planning to play a couple of satellites at $250 and one at $550. My attempt is to get the $10,000 seat for WPT in March.

so what you are saying is that be super tight from the beginning and try to double up chips as the level goes up?
