Would you consider to shove it ALL IN with middle pair (7's, 8's, 9's)

Pre flop? or It is to risky?

Depends on the situation, i shove them in tournaments when im shortstacked 15-20bb.
When playing heads up vs 1-2 players, depending on my stack size ( < 30bb ) i shove too, well against 1 player i almost always shove middle pairs regardless of my stack size.In any other case i try to see to flop if the bet/raise before me doesn't smell like a higher pocket.

It depends on action before me.

Usually I will shove if I am 10-15 bbs

Like everybody else said here before. Depends on your stack size, and position. Also take notes from your opponents. Think a bit before you do something, poker is not black and white, there's some gray in there too.

In freerolls 100% I will Allin. On the other tournaments it all depends on how far away the prizes which the value of my stack, what place I was sitting at the table and so on and so forth. Many reasons. The probability of winning with these pocket pairs more than 50%, so it's a good card. For tables with cash I have on the contrary, almost never these couples do not throw in Allyn

consider adding 'with middle pair' to the thread Title,
I was going to ignore this thread because I thought it sounded daft, but seeing the hover over preview with middle pair (7's, 8's, 9's) showed it to have more value as a question.

When I first started playing poker it looked like most allins were pairs against AK or AQ. I would always prefer the pair even 2s in such a race.

After learning from forum discussions I realised that middle pairs and AJ were not such good all in hands.

Naturally as always in poker there are times and situations when it would be appropriate but in general middle pairs are fairly mediocre and vulnerable.

You shoudn't go all in except you're short stack and get hand like AA AK KK :)

All in with middle pair

I think it depends on the situation. It depends on your stack size relative to average stack, and also what actions the players did before you and and what kind of players you have following you...

Usually people do this when below 10 bb and in good spot.

It's entirely situational. I would probably only shove if I had 15 BB or less. Otherwise I'd be more tentative...

Depends

There are many factors involved, type of tourney, position, position, most of the time I would say wait for the flop. If another player has decided to go all in and has you covered, you are the only one taking a bad risk, they stay alive even if you win, but you are gone if you lose.

If I am going to risk my tourney life it will be on a hand that has better chances then a middle pair all things considered, unless I flop a set, then All In I go. Most of time at least, of course I have been known to fold even with a set if the board is wet and has over cards paired.

My opinion.

Hello. Of course with such a map is better to refrain from risky action because the risk has to be justified! But sometimes you win and with small pocket pair, but mostly in cases where the first to bet on everything and when no other higher pocket pair at the table then the chances increase.

And a lot depends on if you're playing on pokerstars from your statistics as a table or a month - stars.
