To answer your question yes it would be foolish, unless you are beating the games with a solid roi. Why set yourself up to run into problems with buy ins if you don't have to.
My advice would be to spend your time studying the game & how to beat those stakes. Spend your time learning how to crush those games so you can move up fast. You won't improve your game much by just playing a shit ton of $1 sngs. Get SNG Wiz and study all your games. So much of your chip winnings will come during the late stages when the blinds get high. Get really good at making +chip & Icm plays in the late game. It may suck to spend your time playing a stupid quiz when you could be playing for real money
but trust me you will end up moving up in stakes way faster and overall make much more $$$.
I heard a pretty cool tip for warming up before you start your sessions. Go to the lowest buy in that runs for your game and play until you win 3 str8. Then move up a lvl and repeat until your at your current stake. I really like this advise & use it once in a while before I start my grind. Instead of just jumping right in to the tuff games you can transition into them. I'm playing HU tho so for a stt maybe you play until you have 3 str8 cashes.
Anyways, gl & run good. I hope some of this helped.
