Win 1 of 2 FREE copies of PokerTracker4!

Looking for people interested in winning a copy of PT4 this January. We have 2 copies to give away to tourney players.

First copy will be awarded to the person who does the best in the CC buyins for the month of January. There are 16 CC buyins in January. Not everybody can participate in all the games so only your best 6 results will count. Each game will be scored as follows:

1st 60
2nd 48
3rd 38
4th 30
5th 24
6th 20
7th 16
8th 14
9th 12
Any other position 6

First buyin game that counts is the Carbon buyin on Friday at 5pm ET


The other copy will be awarded to the best contributor to the tournament forums in January. Contributing could be looking for advice, offering good advice and so on. 1400 1-word posts is not the way to victory


For those of you who already have PT4 or don't want to win it, you can still enter and be in with a chance to win a signed copy of "Reading Poker tells" by Zach Elwood.

I'll be posting the results of each buyin in that game thread and I'll post the standings weekly in here so it will be easy to follow.

Good to see some more sign ups since I was last on. I'm in too but will be going for the book.

I'd like to join the bandwagon.

Since it took me over a year to fully understand HEM (which is dabatable but anyway) I should probably take the book if I were wise.

Since I'm not wise and HEM keeps ****ing up my carbon results and I have to edit them manually I'll go for PT4.

If you mastered HEM, PT is very similar (at least in the basics). It also uses the same database program so makes for easy installation. I used PT for a trial basis because HEM refuses to support Americas Cardroom, and I was able to work with it without skipping a beat.

I have been recommending people go with PT instead of HEM lately.

Do the bovada buy-ins count? Should we just post a screenshot or something to show our finishing spot?

As long as a screenshot is posted in the chat thread, we will track it. Although as I'm typing this, it has occurred to me tonight's Bovada game will be difficult since it's anonymous... If people who have posted in this thread post where they finishes we can count it, that would be the only I guess for now.

Alright those are pretty much the only ones ill play in unless i win a freeroll on any other site but ill post in here my finishing spot and also a screenshot in the chat threads
