Here is an image from a recent tournament on ACR. This is a very good example of why when you are in the BB you should love limpers...... but also a good example of the dangers of limping from early and middle position. While I was very lucky in this case it also shows how you can remove the element of luck from your opponents game.

Favourite win

So.... while I dont have the hand history, MP2 was first to play and limped. Two other players followed and limped along. I was sat in the BB and was allowed to see the flop with my 72o.

You can imagine the smile I had to myself when the flop landed. I simply checked..... and each of the limpers min bet to me, so I min bet too. The Turn came as the Q. I duly checked again and the KQ shoved....leading to the other players folding. I followed and was all in.

I would have loved to have seen the face of the KQ when they saw 72o shown to them on showdown.

So.... while poker is a game of skill and luck.... our job is to remove the luck aspect from others...and by limping pre flop this most certainly does nothing for removal of luck from your opponents.... but hey...if early and MP players limp, use luck to exploit their play.

If you're on BB, you're just lucky to see the flop for free.

Definitely that's lucky! Here you have exploded the error that made fhish22 by letting you see the flop for free

Damn, these limpers are a joke. I occasionally limp in when I have marginal hands, but with good hands I always raise

Well, it's just not fair outrageous. Some fish plays her luck posmihaye. A normal person would not play at all with this card.

It was a sweet spot for you, hardly ever a rational player would defend there with this hand on the BB. You were lucky enough and you had 2 pair. Need more players like him in order to pay us well. :)

That style of play only brings you losses in the long run. Never put the variance against you

For me its better to bet KQoff if you decide to play that hand ( it's always easy to fold if situation is difficult after you) than let BB to see the flop with 27

It would be better to read first the first post and the description before you answer in a rush guys. Hero was on the BB with 72 off. He didn't open limp.

I'd at least min raise in that spot with KQo and possible 2.5x depending on how big the blinds were. It's always a good feeling to crush the flop with the ol' 72o though. Nice hand, thanks for sharing!

Yes. It happens all the time. :) I love them too.

And if you are one of the limpers and suddenly the guy from BB start to betting hard after the flop you should be very careful.

This speaks of the fact that it is not necessary to go to the hand and give the gift of BB to see the flop since donkey you do not know exactly where you're behind or ahead of the thanks for the screenshot , it shows that if the flop didn't match and KQo it was necessary not to play so much, such a hand can be pass , if the hand Yasmina and not a monster and should not have to shake the Bank , since for a small pot not worth fighting, and a big pot OPP with the second pair also will go to the end
