It is interesting to see some players go All-In in freeroll tournaments too quick.
- Is it because its Free or they are just the beginners?
- or It is the best way to gain quick lead?

Love to see the thoughts of the forum members. Please do share your best approach while playing freeroll tournaments.

I would say a bit of both. Don't know how else to put it,
For me personally, i go all in with high pockets (JJ+) only at the start of freerolls
Maybe AX(J,Q,K).
In most cases i go all-in when i don't have time to play, Like busy at work or have to go urgently.

I think, because they do not feel responsible. It's free. They hope to win fast as a lottery.

Mostly inexperienced players will mostly be doing such thing, but they will get the grasp of it sooner or later. When someone goes all in i just wait for good opportunities to strike them. It sucks sometime when you are beaten with lousy cards. its poker though.

a lot of freeroll players treat it like a coin toss.. first decent hand - all in. Win and play serious, lose and no time wasted.

More often than not you will see the average stack lets say close to 3.000, and the biggest stack is like 15.000. How he managed to do that? Either by winning a multishoving pot, or by a double after double lucky shoves.

I played the elementary freerolls and I played it tight cause I wanted to reach 15% positions to be promoted to high school. Now that I am at high school, I also play elementary freerolls but for the money positions. Tight gets you to good positions, loose on the other hand gets you busted or in the money positions.

Doubling up early gives you an advantage to make moves and even to make mistakes that otherwise would mean you bust out of the tourney after investing 30 minutes to play.

Hi

I think it may be the structure of the blinds that make them go all-in on any two good cards. That I can somewhat understand. What I don't get is why some players go all-in with any two down cards.

The same thing occurs in low limits too. I think there are no justifications for beginners go allin constantly, this will depend of what is the prize, we see better players in the CC freeroll club than a lot of others games.

The league, from poker stars, will me more difficulty and with less playes going allin in the accord of the nível, maybe in the masters don't will be a players in allin with weak hands.

Some profitable players goes allin with good hands to catch some bad players, and making this style lucrative in the first nivels of blinds.

After certain point will be less weak players, careful with how you tag a player without enough time to see what him want with his play, don't judge a player like a weak player based only in one or two allin.

Same reason people that play with play money do it. Nothing to loose so why not.

Before I came here I tried the wsop App on the android. You would see a whole table go all in and someone always had a flush or a straight.

Yes for these proposals, and also because they think they are good players, good bluffers.

Hi.
I think the players in the freerolls are go all in,
because in the first place the tournament is free, and secondly, they want to quickly get a lot of chips, on the third, they do not think at all that they can win anything valuable in freerolls.
Good luck.

Some might feel it's not worth playing unless they gain an early advantage, and since there's nothing to lose...

I find that I do best when I play freerolls the same way I play other tournaments.

Maybe somewhat during the dailies, but think again on the weekend games. Just because it is a CC game does not equate to better players. You still will see bingo plays, huge 10BB preflop bets, etc on really bad starting hands. Navigating through those players is just as dangerous as any other freeroll.

Yes, Very dangerous! I have laid down some pretty good hands when that happens, but then of course there are times when those folks play into welcome arms.

Lots of freeroll players go all in, cuz that's the best that they can do... Basically, going all in to get the pot. Or to double up and get a large chip stack to play tight...
Usually, its best to wait later in the game to play... To eliminate the odds of having he wild players at your table... lol.
Good luck...

I think some people go all in with legitimate holdings once in a while but it seems like more than not they go all in with nothing. I think they hope to dramatically improve their chip stack in the shortest time possible. I see a lot of them don't stop even after they chip up. Those people are just brainless I think. I was told poker is more like a marathon than a sprint so I try to remember that while I'm in a tournament.

for several reasons:

they got bored and do not want to play it
they have nothing to lose (only time)
they do not mind playing well or badly

The way I see it I just think those players want to take the guess work out post flop and have a quick lead. This results in good players calling and then losing to bad players because of bad beats.

I've read what they say because it's free and it does not cost them their money, and maybe they'll have some reason.
but according to my devista point everything depends on the prize. it's not the same to play a freeroll with prize pot of $ 10 to one with a jackpot of $ 100
Well, if it's a low prize freeroll I usually go all in with any hand looking for luck and make chips.

My nobleman, I can be criticized, plus one of the worst poker games is to go allin preflop at the beginning and a tournament, we took some time to see this reality. However, there are situations where it is necessary to go pre-flop with the intention of having our opponents fold. When I play with a pair of My goal is to hit a three of a kind, if it does not hit, we will invest a few stacks to go to the showdown. Go allin is to ask to leave the tournament, what makes you fall from a tournament is a pair of AA, what makes you win a tournament is a straight well executed with a good reading of the board, checking if there is no flush board . What makes you win a tournament is to earn chips slowly, investing few stacks and even going allin when you hit your nuts flush. More talk is very easy, I even know what to do in a tournament, I've been able to take some of what I'm saying here, unfortunately a couple of A's are irresistible, and it's very difficult to drop that hand, we always hit it allin and the opponent's opponent hits something with a mediocre hand and we fall from a tournament.
