I have a funny beat story from ACR a $1.10 KO 6max freeze-out. There is 14 players left, we have just past the bubble. This hand happened !! The Villian only arrived at my table 8 hands prior. He was limping and limp-folding 6 of 8 hands.. I do not know how to set the spoiler alert. I find it hard to believe that someone gets into the money with plays like this.

Hand History driven straight to this forum with DriveHUD Poker HUD & Database

NL Holdem $400(BB)

Hey can someone explain to me , why when I preview the post it looks perfect??? Once I hit the post button it changes and instead of just showing a red heart or black club, it reverts to <font> <color> etc.... It is annoying, and makes it difficult to read?? When I preview the post it looks great?? Help?? I am going to insert a screenshot to show what I mean.

I can believe it. It is amazing how many players with very loose hand selection and no concept of position make it ITM. Was it a turbo or hyper structure and how many entries?

Regular tournament structure except for bounties. And it was not progressive bounties. I just feel like how can he show up with 3 4 o , in that situation ????

J I do not know if you got an answer to your formatting question but if not the tags you are seeing after you post are HTML tags. You will see them in an raw html post for editing. I looked but did not see a way to turn off raw in posts. As a stop gap you can edit as was suggested with a text editor like Notepadd++

What was the action on turn and river? Check check on both streets?

I think that a 4x 3bet is too much, especially against UTG limp range if you are going to 3 bet fold. I prefer smaller opening sizes, so here I would have gone 2.8x to 3.5x raise. I also would have checked back the flop, betting allows flush draws to shove all in and put you in a bad spot

Yes it's amazing how some people play sometimes. You just have to be careful and keep grinding...

I fully believe based on playing experience that flops are rigged for action. If this were true then it would explain why so many people play with these junk hands regardless of position, regardless of their opponents ranges. It would also explain why the biggest donk players with high vpips almost always are the big stacks at the tables. It would also explain why people will play terrible poker paying off more streets with just 2 under cards lol.

Ive have finished 10th, 10th, 7th, and 6th in 4 out of my last 10 freerolls on ACR. Yesterday I had the same donk at my table for over 250 hands. He never fell below 88% vpip. His strategy was perfection. Call every single multiway min bet pot. If nobody opens action bet pot. When there is anyone left who doesnt fold slow up unless you have a pair, or any draw then jam. He would win 3 out 4 like this for hours. I saw all his chips in the middle with the worst hands in the deck. 84, 73, 92, Q3 etc.

I could be wrong..........but I believe the reason you see so many people playing this way......and being successful at it, is because they have figured out those hands are landing all the time. Think about it. People jamming with AK, AQ etc and you have 83. No big card hits the board and you land a 3 you are about to add a ton of chips. What if they have JJ? You are one card away from 2 pair and since you are winning 3 out of 4 who cares.

This is wrong.

Bad players make excuses and assume its rigged.

Good players embrace variance, play focused, and grind.

If the bad players don't ever hit there draw we would not see them at the tables as often . We need to accept them hitting sometimes and take there chips the 8 or 9 times out of 10 that they miss. It is NOT rigged....

Speaking of rigged, you never hear of people complain when they're on the winning side. There is no such thing as two cards with zero equity preflop, and the same things happen in live poker too. If the fish weren't fed once in a while, then poker would be a purely skill-based game like chess and none of us dummies would ever have a chance at a wsop final table.
