Who's playing the 10th Anniversary Sunday "$10m GTD" Tournament?

Anyone directly buying in? Trying to satty their way in or think it's to much on this donk fest ?

I imagine it's going to require a fair bit of luck but, with 10k in chips and 15minute blinds obviously skilful players are more likely to prevail than as opposed to faster structures with less chips.(Like that world record thing!)

They have to reach 50k entrants to cover the 10million they are guaranteeing but I'd imagine it will easily surpass this and they have capped it at 80,000 but it wouldn't surprise me if it manages to reach this.

I was lucky enough to win my ticket to this via CC promotion but I think I would of been making a deposit and playing it anyway just for the novelty and of course the small chance of life changing monies!

Anyway, let me know who's playing so we can get a rail going this sunday and maybe do a small little "last longer" bet that we have all been doing recently!

I'd really like to play it but don't think I'll buy in directly. I'll be playing some satelites so hopefully I'll make it. I'm due a good result so this would be the ideal tournament to go deep in. Hope it's not some donk that binks it. Best of luck to any of you that are taking a shot.

I think i will be, unfortunately I was out of town during last sundays CC game, trying to satty now but if i dont ill probably just buy in anyway

Love to play it but playing a live tournament live before and then have to come home next day so not sure I'd be back in time

Think I'll play some sattellites this week, as I figure they should be pretty soft. What looks good? There is a $12 100 seat double shootout sng that pays 5 seats; I might give that a try. Any idea how long the big day-of satty will run? (ie at what point will the winners actually get into the big game)

Do you have nothing running your in tournament/regional tab? UK&ireland currently have a 50c rebuy game but to much of a luckfest really and the other good one is an $11.00 game with 10 seats added so the value is very good there. Think there was like 300 entries and 29 got paid a ticket, I finished in 35th Wanted to trade my ticket for tournament dollars but will try again tommorow.

The big satty runs 45minutes before the actual tournament is due to start, but 1000 starting stack and 5min levels I think it's best to try a normal sized one with 1500 chips, at least some play Don't get me wrong, I will no doubt be playing the big satty one as it will have 10k+ people and the mass majoirty have to be more fishy than your average fish.

I wouldn't imagine you getting in the game much longer than 45minutes after it started though, should be mega fast!

Didn't think of checking the regionals -- though it seems they've been pushing canada at the PCA lately. I'll check it out though -- thanks for the reminder!

I'm going to try a couple more sattys probably (there's a Canadian one, $10 buyin with 10seats added for any Canadians who played in the SunStorm last weekend (had to play the Storm to get a ticket)). Prob not going to buyin directly (although I should).
My work schedule has been just NUTS lately & have wayyyy too much going on (& on my mind) to really be able to sit & focus much on tournament poker tables right now... sooo... idk

Yah the SunMil has 10k starting stacks & 15min. levels 'but' once you're into the 3rd hour the blinds increase by fairly big increments. Late stage SunMil play is typically not deep at all. (maybe have a closer look at the structure/blinds in the lobby & compare it to others... compared to deepstack higher buyin MTT's on ipoker, the SunMil looks like a Turbo).

sorry but not into any small 'last longer' sidebets (especially if end up buying in direct).
