Hey guys. Ive been practicing more of my poker and trying to get better at using suited connectors (this is probably my biggest weak since I never like playing suited connectors). Since I play tight, the only suited connectors I really think of venturing out with are 89s+
I was wondering though when at what M or what blinds do people start shoving with SCs? At what point is it any two cards? Harringtons M seems to imply shoving with any two is correct probably at M<5 (red zone) while maybe suited connectors should be at orange? The reason why I dont understand the value of SCs are because it doesnt seem like you are getting your chips worth. By shoving, you only get twice your stack if called which is a 2:1. However, flopping a straight draw or flush draw is 1 in 8 so you need better than 1:8 for this to be profitable. Against a tight player (10% hands called), you are a 2:1 dog. Could someone explain to me how to play SCs properly and at what M I should start risking with them.
