If I have 8 bb-13 bb and know I am going to get called by at least one opponent and possibly more in a loose game how tight should I be shoving. I know the general of all pocket pairs a9+ and any ace when very short but how could I adjust my short stack game to a loose table?

I think you should just play around in pot odds calculator to figure out what can you be called by on your limit. Seeing a shove-call with J9o on nl2 is something you will see often but nl100... not so much

I would say 99`s and up, AQ+ a bit on a nitty side, but hey better chances to double that short stack, but that will make u fold a lot of hands so when you do get one of the hands i told u to shove with, all the players on the table will know u got a good hand and will fold, so its totally up to you how light will u shove and try to double up.

bet as small as you think you can get away with, but lots of times shoving looks weaker than min raising

I agree with shoving with good cards but if they are not coming you might want to shove regardless of cards with late position when no one has entered the pot, especially if some big stacks have folded and you can still make a dint in the stacks that are left to act. Even in a loose game there are some pots no one seems that interested in. Shove and hope for the best.

only if you have table image of shoving AJ+ & if blinds/limpers are tight. In frees/low buyins you will get called with rubish from UTG more often than you can expect, especialy if you are not deep or near buble.
To many first few hands go like: 5 all-iners woth TJo, A3o, 63s...

8-13bb you call? Only push fold at large range 8-10bb 22+ and A8+ never only call because the blinds and (ante) eat you.

Shove with 99+ and AQs+ AKo+
You can also shove with weaker hands when you are in position and everyone has folded before you. A8o+, 55+ are a flip in these situations sometimes but with less than 10bb there isn't much you can do.

There is not much you can do with under 10bb and every hand waiting for a premium is going to chip away at what little you do have. Shoving is the only option.

Try to take spots where there are few people remaining to act behind you, and never if someone is already voluntarily in ahead of you, even limping. People don't like to fold once they've clicked some other button and a short stack makes a move.
