i want this guy at my next table.
Early stages do not narrow your range. You want to have suited gappers like 9Ts, JTs which are better to have than AK, AQ or 99+ because of 3 ways+ possibility, where our premiums are more likely to beat.
just FYI, 2 higher cards vs 2 lower cards are about 5-3 in favor of the 2 higher cards...
and on that pocket 9s+ lets say qq vs j10s, the queens are about 5-1 ahead there....
the logic there to open your range up early is fine. but you def do not want those suited connectors over premium hands.
yes, the more people u put up against queens the worse they run, thats why you stick in a nice raise to thin the field.
and if the pots are crowded the suited connectors do go up in value. but your just saying being in crowded pots will give you a higher win % with the suited connectors. you will win more pots with bigger cards, if played correctly. its not the win% that goes up with more folks in the pot its the implied value, from the implied straight and flush draws you may hit and break one of your opponents.
