Hi Pals,
I am not a fan of Super Turbo game but recently 888 has changed its club freerolls (20-50) from normal to Super Turbo in nature. So now I have to face it.
The problem I face is players are going allins with any hand and beating me and others as yesterday my A K was marred by 10 5os.
So my question is 1-- What type of trash hand should be played by us?

2-- What is the roll of position with increasing blinds and when 4 out of 9 are allins?

3-- How to manage to get at least 15BBs in a fast pace changing blinds in a 3 minute interval ?

I dislike hyper turbos as well. it strictly comes down to luck in a hyper because when the blinds go up people will be shoving with trash and sometimes will suck out on you no doubt. just hope to build a stack early and use it to pressure short stacks

A lot of pairs can be played, because lots of people go all in with AT etc, but miss the flop.

I can not play at all at 888, many go to all-in, even with AA I'm flying out

yah, it is true that is why I asked about that here. So those who get 1-2nd place in super turbo (more than 10000 players in the case of 888 freerolls) tourneys are purely on luck or might be something else which is must in the Arsenal?

Any pocket pairs should be played and the winning percentage grows in this situation! And only luck and all!

I am not an hyper-turbo expert or something but I have done some deep runs in that kind of tourneys. I prefer 6 max, I played very solid and only opened very strong hands or pocket pairs. I was waiting for the maniacs to go all in with their ragged A and just telling to my hand to hold till the river :p

The variance in that kind of tournaments is huge but I believe you know it. You need to target the passive players if you want to steal the blinds and a vital advice is that 10-15bbs is not a small amount of big blinds in a hyper-turbo. So be patient and don't play trash hands unless you don't have fold equity!!

Well it's not about the hand it's about the position, you have to open your range to almost any hand from last positions when no one call

In ST-tournaments most depends on luck, if you don't reached your stack when the blinds are low, later it will be wery difficult. Try do not enter the bank, when 3 or more players goes all-in, what hand you have don't matter here.

it's all luck and is quite a thrill. But I don't expect to win money playing turbo games.

In my opinion the super turbo are the hardest to play especially because more than two players could go all-in at the same time.

The types of hands I usually would play would be Q7 and above and I would shove all-in because of the blinds increasing so fast.

If you study a nash chart it really helps to know what to do in those situations. If 4 people are all in I personally would not call with anything less than 10's. As the blinds go up and your stack gets smaller, face cards with low kickers become more valuable.

in that tournaments you have to take advantage of the cards that you have that includes pairs like 55+ or nice cards like KQ AQ AK AA KK QQ if you have that cards you have to play it going all in or call if the oponent goes all in

it's my personal opinion that all types of trash hands should be played. I've lost big on great hands and won big on shit hands. Every once in a while i will call a shit hand that seems hopeless just because i know sometimes there are shitty flops. I have seen a 7 take the pot as the high card.
