I usually use a simple account. I get my stack and divide by forty, so the amount I give I impose my limit to play MTT and STT !!!

Ex: $ 41.00 / 40 = $ 1.10 This is going to be my limit of tournaments to stay in a comfortable bankrool zone, am I doing right?

I think 40 buy-ins is a reasonable amount. I know of people who will say 100 but I really think that level of buffer is pretty unnecessary unless you are still learning the game. Me personally I'd say somewhere between 30-60 buy-ins is optimal obviously 30 is pushing it but you can always drop stakes.

If you play alot and you even multitable them 40 is way too little, but if you play 1-2/day when you play i guess it's ok.
If you play 10+/day i'd say 200bi+ is necessary since you will have more loaing days in a row.

Hello.
In order to control the possible damage, I set the limit for a day. If I use my limit, then I stop playing. Although in fact I play most of the time in freerolls.

I think it is not bad, everything is in which you can keep in the range of buy-in, that is, do not try to enter sng or tournaments that would control your bank, and obviously everything is in which you can achieve your goals GL

I think the ideal is that you can play comfortably, without your having influence on the decisions, playing a higher buy-in sometimes, a special event, no problem, or using the profit of a tournament that played well , and engaging in a larger one a bit. This idea of 100 buy-in that the books says I think has already fallen to the ground, because there are professionals who have losses of 500 buy -in up to 1,000,000 buy -in, that already broke the theory of 100 buy-in. The secret is knowing your comfort zone.

The bankroll size helps to estimate in what games I can play in order tp have results. In the tournaments that will be played can included and some with bigger buy ins.
