BTN: 29,361.00
SB: 7,856.00

Hero posts ante 50.00, UTG posts ante 50.00, BTN posts ante 50.00, SB posts ante 50.00, SB posts SB 300.00, Hero posts BB 600.00

Pre Flop: (pot: 1100.00) Hero has Xx Xx

UTG is running 32/27/AggFreq: 20 f2c-bet: 40
BTN is running: 27/10/AggFreq: 17 f2c-bet: 29
SB is running: 19/15/AggFreq: 15 f2c-bet: 100

^all stats over 100+ hands. None over 150.

My thoughts in this spot are this:

If SB folds before it gets to me from any position, I should be opening a tighter range of hands, because UTG and the BTN aren't folding to a lot of c-bets. Instead, I should wait for either UTG to raise or for BTN to limp in and try and go for more resteals. Conversely, if SB shoves into me I should be calling wider than normal, since as a fairly TAGgy player he should know to shove wide there.

Anything you can think of that I've missed?

I would play a lot of hands here and try to bully the other players. When the blinds are really big and you have a good stack be very aggressive but dont call all in bets without having good hands if they shove when you raise.

It's quite situational. The tendencies of the other players can weigh significantly into choosing your range. As a simple example, in the above hand, if it's folded to the SB who shoves, your calling range is much wider if he's very loose than if he's a nit.

Not CAN, SHOULD!!!!!!!

I can never believe the number of discussions which make no mention of the player type you are against. Folding AQs but playing A9o can be correct dependant on who it is......
