Just fold pre, playing weak aces OOP with 27.5bb and a 3x raise and not even closing the action is going to be bad. Depending on stakes/stats you can 3-bet/fold, if he's going to call 3-bets too much I just fold.

As played c/jam flop. He should c-bet it and we have a ton of equity.

what he said, don't play A-rags. I understand you had some chips in the sb, but let it go if raised, you are probable way behind.

I don't mind raising an ace in sb, but you dont want to be calling.

what's the guy style? Is he usually trying to steal the blinds? If he's an aggr player i would reraise him b4 the flop to see where you stand, if he calls and i get flop like what you have. i proally throw a small bet in their maybe 1/4th of the pot. If he raises me then i'm out.
But as for your play right now i would just check and hopefully he's foolish enough to check or put in a small bet. What end up happening?

With the two spades in the first two slots, I'm calling off 10% of my stack.

Though, it's true. Don't play ace rag.

If the guy was being a bully I would reraise him pre...he pushes or reraises he has something which would lead me to fold...other than that fold pre.

Thought he was trying to nick the blinds...had in my head before he bet that I'd go in 3x the big blind....so I called when he did....then I bet on the flop thinking he'd fold.....when he shoved I decided to call...worth the punt I thought.
My original question was "should I have gone all in on the flop in the first instance?" Then I came to think.....should I have been in the flop?
So, basically, pre-flop either fold or re-raise the guy to see if he's serious...then get out the way on the flop when I don't hit and he bets.....
On the flop after I bet and he went all-in....fold fold fold.

id probably fold Ace rag in this spot but since we're seeing a flop id try to take the pot there and then by throwing out a semi bluff

folding to a reraise if im not given the odds to draw to the nut flush and definitely folding when he reraises all in.. just not worth crippling myself drawing to a flush when my opponent obviously has a high pocket pair to the board
