Because we are on the Internet in various locations throughout the world and connections and connectivity are in question daily this situation occurs more times than I care to deal with, but it happens daily in just about every tournament I play in and it becomes extremely annoying and difficult to ascertain the true nature of it when it does happen.
Every table, every hand, there is someone that has this problem; they are slower than snails when making decisions. They constantly let their time run down, they disconnect and pretend it is a connection issue, they pretend to sit out and often times it feels contrived and on purpose just to tick people off. Or they use it as a ploy to make you think they have nothing, only to come back and bet all in.
No way of really knowing for sure, we all have problems with connectivity, but is it really the connection most of the time? What percentage do you attribute to real problems?
Rude, selfish jerks that hold the game up should be ashamed of themselves.
I expect this to be normal behavior on poker sites, but the one's I have the real problems with are those that are involved in the CARDSCHAT community that bring that behavior to games where it should not happen.
Am I wrong? Am I overreacting? I just like fast pace games and I think there should be integrity in game play, there are moments when taking time is understandable and those times are reflected on the table, but always, every card, every hand? Sheesh. Poker becomes a chore instead of fun.
If I am out of line please delete this post and carry on, rant over.
